El proyecto Software Testing Academy tiene como objetivo establecer la primera academia de su tipo para todos los que desean desarrollar su carrera en el Testing de Software. Para ello, la asociación desarrollará 3 itinerarios formativos: pruebas ágiles, pruebas automatizadas y pruebas de accesibilidad. Fueron seleccionados en función de las necesidades actuales y emergentes del mercado laboral.
El área en la que nos centraremos en este curso de formación es el “Pruebas de Accesibilidad”. El objetivo principal para los estudiantes es familiarizarse con el tema y la mentalidad subyacente para que puedan confiar en sus conocimientos y dar sus primeros pasos (avanzados) en el testing de accesibilidad.

Con este entrenamiento, esperamos ayudar a los estudiantes a crecer en su nuevo rol obteniendo nuevos conocimientos como:
- Conocimiento sobre diferentes discapacidades y sus limitaciones
- Regulaciones y estándares relacionados con la accesibilidad
- Herramientas para ayudar a probar la accesibilidad formas de llegar a las personas con discapacidad
- Un esquema de formas de defensa
Los estudiantes también deben adquirir habilidades para obtener información de una variedad de fuentes y cómo llegar a las personas con discapacidad y a los miembros de sus organizaciones y comunidades.
Este curso enfatiza la necesidad de un trabajo sistemático e indefenso y asumir la plena responsabilidad de los resultados, una actitud crítica hacia la información obtenida de diferentes fuentes, así como la apertura hacia las necesidades de otras personas.
Cada sección del curso incluirá los siguientes elementos:
- Información rápida sobre los temas, objetivos y resultados de la sección.
- Pretest: forma de comprobar el conocimiento del estudiante antes de estudiar nuevos temas.
- Materiales: videos, infografías, grabaciones de audio y artículos.
